The purpose of this script is to create a frame for an image. It does this using the Swirl and Jiggle filters from either Eye Candy 3.1 or Eye Candy 4000. The user will be prompted for the Eye Candy version.
Open an image to be framed, and set the Foreground Material to a dark color from the image - this color will be used in the narrow frame borders. Set the Background material to Pattern, and use the image you are framing as your pattern, with Angle=53 and Scale=68.IMPORTANT NOTE: Please keep the Script Output palette open (View...Palettes...Script Output, or press the shortcut key, F3) during the execution of this script.
This script runs in the Pause Script format. It will first echo the pertinent ReadMe file details into the Script Output palette. During the ensuing pause, the user is encouraged to check the ReadMe details to be sure everything is in place. Click the Play button to continue.
The script generates a dialog box asking whether or not the user will be using Eye Candy 4000 for the frame - if the NO button is clicked, Eye Candy 3.1 will be used. The plugin settings will be echoed to the Script Output palette just before the interactive plugin steps, so the user has them available when they are needed.
If the user is using Eye Candy 3.0, changes will have to be made to the plugin name within the script.
Download the script - this script runs from any Restricted folder, including its own Quick Guide folder.
